The Endopolis Poetry Room is a comfy new space in Florence, MA for poets and artists to fill up with inspiration and to acquire the support they need to go forth and create. This is a room where you and your words matter. This is a room in which you are allowed to be a poet.
The space is comprised of 240 square feet with a cozy living room area, a typewriter for general use, a tea/coffee station, free snacks, free period products and other supplies, a small poetry collection, and a shop corner for consignment chapbooks and merch. The Poetry Room hosts events like workshops, mentoring, poetry circles, and walk-in hours for poets and artists all week long. Most of the events are free.

Finding the room
The Poetry Room is on the 2nd floor of office building called Brick Mill Square in downtown Florence. There is an elevator if you go in the Main Entrance of the Central Building. There are also exterior stairs by the North Building that lead directly to #201.
Brick Mill Square has its own free parking lot.
The nearest PVTA bus stop is a few blocks away, at Florence Center and is serviced by the R44.
Important notes about accessibility
To enter the 201 space there are three carpeted steps down. There’s no way around them, and there’s no railing. There are bathrooms for us to use in the building, down a long hallway, near the elevator. They are gendered, with stalls.
Please get in touch if you have any questions or have ideas for collaboration! We’d love to hear from you.
